that's why I logged on...
I logged on today because no one had been and I couldn't post responses...and now I know why.
Bummer about this crackhead blog turning on its own.
Two strange things happened this week. First, this guy from Hampton University - incidentally, who accepted the Job Pietruszynski turned down - emailed me because he saw on my faculty profile that I am from Omaha and so is he. Then on Tuesday, my high school best friend, Dana, called me in my office. After high school we went in totally different directions and I haven't seen or spoken to her since a mutual friend's graduation party in 1997. I am still shocked that she called. She sounded so calm and mature - why are we so old? She sounded great, though, very happy. She is a mother of 2 and still lives in Omaha. She is married to the guy she started dating back in 1994. She sent me a link to pics of her family - her little guy (8mos) has Downs.
Anyway, hope this gets fixed. I like reading about y'all.
