This ½ Year in Blog

Let's consider this a work in progress until the end of the year... put your additions in comments or email them to me and I'll add them in. If you're bored, it might be fun to have a count on # of comments and # of photos posted. And/or we could use a new image, along the lines of what Brad proposed, with the Killarney's awning.

I've tried to remember everything, but I'm sure I'm missing a lot. And in no particular order...
This ½ year in blog we:

adopted one new dog (Lori), 2 new cats (Nikki and Marcy), and one new roomate (and his dogs...Will).

This ½ year in blog we:

made three cross-country moves (Jeff and April, Susie and Rachel, Lori), four local moves (Nikki and Brian, Rhonda, Will and Brent, Jeff and Jess), and had three house closings (Susie and Rachel, Rhonda, Nikki and Brian).

This ½ year in blog we:

had one wedding (Jeff and April), one engagement (Lori and Jim), and one bat incident (Susie, Rachel, and bat).

This ½ year in blog we:

met up in San Francisco for CPTSC, in Nashville for NWP, and in Philadephia for MLA.

This ½ year in blog we:

met in Minneapolis for a wedding, in Normal for graduation, in a chat room for election night boozing.

This ½ year in blog we:

passed comps (Nikki & Marcy), prepared to take comps (Brad), defended dissy props (Nikki and Marcy), and defended dissies (Jeff L, Susie, and Lori).

This ½ year in blog we:

got new jobs (Jess, Jeff L, Susie, and Lori), got promoted (Jeff P), got our very own writing project site (Will).

This ½ year in blog we:

removed mountains of wallpaper (Rhonda, Susie and Rachel, Nikki and Brian). Oh hell, let's just call this the year of the wallpaper.

This ½ year in blog we:

hiked mountains of...mountains, camped out, went white water rafting, skied, swam, hung drywall, painted walls, drank a lot of wine.

This ½ year in blog we:

wrote a novel, penned dozens of diss chapters, submitted articles and proposals, wrote 144 plus blog entries and *** comments.

This ½ year in blog we:

Worked really hard to keep in touch & I'm so glad we did!
