Stray Cat Strut
On the day that Buffalo got 2 feet of snow, a kitten showed up in our neighborhood. According the our neighbor, the animal shelters are full, and we figured someone just dumped her in a "nice" neighborhood. It was windy and cold outside, so Rachel brought her in to the front porch. Tybalt was not happy about that, but he dealt with it. The neighbors asked around the neighborhood to see if anyone else could take her and got one lead. The next day we discovered she was flea infested, so we gave her a bath and bought kitten food. The neighbor kids named her Emily and came over to visit.
It's now three days later, and I think we've found her a home. As you can see, she is beautiful. She is also charming, loving, and very cuddly. I wish we could keep her, fleas and all, but alas Tybalt is true to his name. This kitten is a Montague to him. We'll keep you posted on her new home.
