Sqeaking, Sneezing 15 lb. Cat

How in the world did I go 3 years here without a cat? This cat is perhaps the best thing in the world. Tucker Finneas, aka Tuck Finn. Each day he does something that makes me smile or shake my head. His latest: sleeping in the bathroom sink. When I can't find him, I go look in the bathroom and sure enough, there he is curled up upside down in the sink. Even a little dribble of water doesn't phase him (yes, I tried it just to see what he'd do). He's got to be the most easy-going cat ever.

Today was our first post-adoption visit to the Vet. According to the Humane Society, I had to get him there within 15 days of adopting. Why? Who knows. $35 to hear that he's fine and that we'd have to be back in Nov. for his shots. Anyway, we arrived only to have the Vet comment on how good he was ( no crying/fussing), how good he looked (ears/teeth), and at how large he was (15 lbs at 1 year old!). At the end of the visit, I set his pet taxi on the counter and good ole Tuck sauntered (yes, sauntered) right in. Even the vet had to stop as he walked out the door to comment on the fact that Tuck made no bones about getting in the taxi.

So, there's more than you probably wanted to know. A fine cat, he is. I'll get a picture up soon. Promise.
