Potpourri and Keys!

I defy you to find & post a picture of a happier and handsomer dog!
That face was made for film, and he knows it.
It's tough to get a shot of him mid-jump, so I thought I'd settle for this one where he's got at least 2 paws off the ground.Did I mention that his foster mother told us she'd been told that Trouble could pee and poo on command? She wasn't sure what the command was, though, which caused us some anxiety. I mean, what if you say the command by accident? What if, for example, the command is sh!%?
But the command is, apparently, "Trouble go poopie." At least, I assume that's it since it works. Will be nice when it's a miserable January morning & I don't feel like walking him long.
Of course, I've signed on for a lifetime of frisbee in all kinds of weather.
First full day in the office today...so I spent most of the day out of the office. First a writing program meeting, then the Womens Studies Exec Com meeting, then chasing down my missing technology with the office secretary (they're missing my Adobe and Macromedia suites, and I-river with cradle).
Turns out, I've signed on as custodian...at least that's how I'll feel once I've chased down the half a dozen or so keys I need to do my job. Sorry...I shouldn't complain, but all the stepping and fetching you have to do just to get started is driving me nuts!
Web pages are starting to go up, finally. That's been an ordeal & I really can't teach without them.
On the bright side, Arrested Development, season 3 comes out tomorrow, so I'm planning a work stoppage no matter what the union decides.
Missed the union meeting at 5...bad girl!
Jim and I hit Ikea yesterday.
Classes start Wednesday...fingers crossed. They (my union rep and many others) say there'll be a strike, even the cool girls on the WS committee claimed negotiations have never been this bad before.
All I want to do is start this job so I can see if I can actually do it!
See ya'll soon,
:)

Oh my gosh he is the cutest! I just want to snuggle him and he is photogenic! I feel for you with the keys, as a new full timer I increased my keys by 3! My ring is so heavy I joked that I needed one of those strings!
I super hope that you don't go on strike but keep a good thought. GIve Trouble kisses from me!

OMG I can't wait until we know you are at work so we can call and leave mesages on your machine telling Trouble to go poopie. :) Make sure you turn the machine up nice and loud so he can hear us.

Trouble is beyond cute, and I really, really hope you don't start off your year with any more trouble than Trouble (sorry, but it was too easy :)).

Trouble looks SO happy, and I'm sure he is with you as his pack leader. You are his pack leader, right? Watch the dog whisperer if you have no idea what I'm talking about.... :)

Rach...I almost had soup coming out my nose I laughed so hard!
I suspect Jim's the pack leader...
No television for 7 weeks, so no dog whisperer or anything... cable and internet are installed tomorrow!
If there's a strike at least I'll have something to do with my time...the vote last night was unanimous to authorize the union to do whatever it needed to do...
I'm off to the lab to see if I can actually load web pages from there!
