The Monkeys are Back!

And I mean that literally. Last week I wrote on my blog about these two guys who were standing right outside the strip mall mega plex thing down the road (shoot me I live in the burbs) holding large blow up monkeys with mortarboards and diplomas that say PhDs, waving them to passerby’s and they also hold signs that say “evolution is a lie”. Well they are back. I saw them yesterday and today and they have also upgraded to shirts that reiterate the “evolution is a lie” message. At first they were funny, now they are a bit annoying. Jeff would like to stand next to them with his own sign that says “And Elvis is still alive,” but for me they have lost their verve!

We are still unpacking and getting stuff together before school starts, although I have to admit that I have not yet started my syllabi, which might not bode well for my first full time job, but besides meetings Monday and Tuesday I also have next week to work, so all hope is not lost.

I do hope that everyone moving right now get where they need to get safe and sound. Has anyone heard from Luddy and April? Have they arrived and did their move go well? Just wondering. And yeah for Lori with the new doggy. I hope it works out well and we are all expecting pictures! I know that I wish I had some pics of the monkey men for you all!! Well back to unpacking, miss and love you all!
