First day of teaching

Well, I officially started classes yesterday, and I must say it went alright. Better than all the orientation led me to believe. The students are typical students, the same everywhere I would imagine. Website is underconstruction, and the tech people have to install FrontPage on my computer (which I finally got Monday morning, though they can't get the printer to work), but I'll let you know when it's readable. Oh--and the best thing about their computer labs is that I can "lock" all their computers so they can't do anything while I'm talking. Or I can make all their screens go blank, though I have not done it yet. ISU needs to get this technology in their labs!

    Congrats Susie!

Guess I shouldn't be so nervous?

Do you have a lot of computer classrooms on campus? Rhetoric only has the one & I'll have to share it with another faculty member!

There are two main computer labs for English, but many on campus. And the school website give a complete overview of all their labs, what's available in them, and when they are being used. Quite comprehensive. You'll do great!!!
